HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Province since 2007 has been appointed Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia by decree of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the third son of the late King Faisal, has previously served as the Governor of the Asir region from 1971 to 2007 and served at the Ministry of Social Affairs. Between 2007-2013 His Royal Highness served as Governor of Makkah Province.

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, founded Painting & Patronage in 1999 and launched through Painting & Patronage Ltd his own limited editioned signed lithograph collection of several of his paintings. Further details on the Royal Painting collection can be found at www.khalidalfaisal.org
