The Chairman of Painting & Patronage and the Board of Directors note with much sadness the passing last month of The Rt Hon Lord Denman, CBE, MC, KCFO, a member of the Honorary Committee of Painting & Patronage and Special Counsel to the Chairman.
“Since it’s launch in 1998, Lord Denman was a longstanding and active supporter of Painting & Patronage and gave much valued direction to the initiative and its cultural and educational programmes. Throughout his remarkably long life Charles Denman devoted so much of it to furthering British interests abroad and especially with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He will be greatly missed and especially by those who valued his counsel and friendship”, said Painting & Patronage Chairman, Anthony Bailey.
