The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud received today a message from The President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, His Excellency Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in which the President extended an official invitation for HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal to officially visit Brazil to launch the Painting & Patronage initiative between Brazil and Saudi Arabia.

The message was delivered by the Minister of External Relations of Brazil, His Excellency Celso Amorim, during his audience with King Abdullah.

The audience was attended by HRH Prince Miteb bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; HRH Prince Miqren bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, Chief of General Intelligence, the Chairman of Shoura Council and other senior officials. The Brazilian Minister and his official Delegation remained for lunch with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The Brazilian Foreign Minister was accompanied to the audience by his delegation which included the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HE Isnard Penha Brasil, Jr.
