King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia opens the 2nd Painting & Patronage programme in Riyadh in 2001.

King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz was appointed Royal Patron of Painting & Patronage in 2007.

In 2007 Painting & Patronage was granted the singular honour of the High Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud over its national and international activities.

Painting & Patronage has also been honoured by the presence of The King of Saudi Arabia at several of its international cultural and educational events held within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
