The Chairman and Board of Directors of Painting & Patronage offer their sincere condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and the Government and people of Saudi Arabia following the announcement of the death of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia on 16 June 2012 in Geneva.

Prince Nayef was a central figure in Saudi Arabia’s decision-making process becoming the Kingdom’s Interior Minister in 1975 and Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister in 2011.

Painting & Patronage was honoured by Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz at the opening in Riyadh in 2001 of the British-Saudi Arabian Painting & Patronage exhibition featuring paintings by HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal and HRH The Prince of Wales.

Prince Nayef’s contribution to the prosperity and development of the Kingdom will long be remembered and we pray that the blessings of Almighty God are granted to him and his family.
